Sunfreakz

Sunfreakz is a project by Belgian producer Tim Janssens. He uses his classical background to create strong melodic house tracks. His first track however was a trance hit, Decoy&Roy’s „Innerlife“, which got him signed to well established labels like Ministry Of Sound and ID&T.
Shortly after that he produced „Riding The Wave“ by Sunfreakz, an instrumental track, that got picked up by labels like OXYD and Positiva. After hearing the track, Swedish wunderkind Axwell offered to do a remix, and after Andrea Britton added her vocals, the track became known as „Counting Down The Days“. An instant classic in the house scene and chart topper.
Sunfreakz is also known for doing remixes for artists like American R&B star Ne-Yo, Bellatrax feat. Sophia May („Can’t Help Myself“ was nr 1 in USA Billboard dance chart for 3 weeks) and many more.
His latest track „Drive Out“ features the amazing vocals of British singer Mia. This track was one of the most played tracks on house radio’s in the USA, and entered Billboard’s airplay chart.
After much demand, Tim started to tour with Dutch DJ Justin Ferier to bring his fans an amazing DJ set, accompanied by live synthesizers and the best singers in the house scene.
Besides Sunfreakz, Tim also produces tracks under the aliases Damien Strong, which is more electro pop (released by Peppermint Jam and Be Yourself Music), and Montoja, a more funky approach to house. He also produces tracks for DJ Ricky Rivaro (regular chart topper in Belgium and Holland) and is currenlty working on a lounge album and tracks for singer Sophia May.
