Siege

Siege
When he was little, Siege used to always walk around, and make some kind of noise. Whether it was fiercely hitting the kettle with a fork and spoon or playing the piano, didn’t really make much of a difference back in the days.
As a full-grown 14-year old man, Siege decided to put his life savings to good use: he bought two turntables and a mixer and he started spinning vinyl. It turned out to be a life-changing decision.
Only two years later, he entered the notorious BaraBar Young Talents contest, which turned out to be the start of a deejay career on the rise. Siege got to play in venues like Versuz, Illusion, Club Delite, Creamm, Outline and Club 3000.
But deejaying alone was not enough for this young bloke. With musical juice flowing through every inch of his body, Siege decided to enter the wondrous world of producing music. At the age of 18, he started sending out his first demos, and two years later, Sugar Sugar Recordings decided to spread its wings over this precious little gem and give him the chance to release his first record: U&Me – Touch Me 2009 (Siege Remix). It hit like a 20 megaton nuclear bomb on a mouse. With support from the likes of Laidback Luke, Steve Angello, Peter Gelderblom, David Vendetta and Jesse Voorn, it is hard to deny the quality Siege is bringing to the dancefloor.
His sets are mostly housey and very progressive. More than decent mixing skills, his own productions and an excellent taste in records are the ingredients for a night out with Siege. You won’t regret it.
